Photos of "Aunt Barzey."

Notes: Aunty Barzey is infamous to me. My mother told me that when she was in college, she visited with Aunt Barzey. She said to my mother something to the effect of, “you think you are revolutionaries, let me tell you about being revolutionary,” and went to describe her own activities, including her involvement with Marcus Garvey’s United Negro Improvement Association. There was a real esteem in the way my mother told me about Aunt Barzey and these few photos in the archive with her image demonstrate that. I’m still collecting information about this relative – like her first name!
