1992 book by Shaykh Heshaam Jaaber.

Notes: Shaykh Heshaam Jaaber (1931‐2007) may be most famously known for presiding over the janazah of Malcolm X — when other Sunni Muslim imams refused. In this book, he narrates this story. It is not accidental that he was able to take on that role. He had a long history of building Muslim institutions in the US,, including with the Addeynu Allahu Universal Arabic Association Inc, where he presided as national spokesperson and imam. He encouraged Muslim women in the Tri-State area to build their own institutions, such as Sahabi'yat magazine and NISA, an organization that Umi was a member of. The book was published by the independent Black publisher, New Mind Productions, in Jersey City, NJ.
