Notes: Umi had always told me she played piano. There was one in her family home, but I didn't realize she was such a serious piano player. She studied piano at the Wilson King Piano School in St. Albans, NY, from at least 1962–1964, playing a number of recitals. She became a qualified state member of the national piano fraternity in 1964 (you can view her certificate in the timeline).
