English-language religious books for children were produced largely by immigrant and convert parents in the UK and the United States because there were no Islamic teaching materials. The British organization the Islamic Foundation and its American counterpart American Trust Publications published or re-published stories of the prophets, of the sahaba, and moral tales for children. This series was among the first to be widely sold at the annual conventions and retreats in the bazaar.
